About
BATIQ BABES is the Cologne-based hyperjazz trio: electronic music, the spirit of jazz, a deep love for gear and a healthy hint of nerdism. Between hip-hop, trap, jazz and house, the three move from atmospheric textures to wild improvisation — acoustic instruments and electronic tools playing as one.
Founded in 2020 as a lab for sound and technology experiments, the band has released a feature track with Japanese rapper 1-KYU, built a series of visual-music videos, and brought its show to stages like Winterjazz Cologne 2025.
